With the current tracking system, it is very difficult to gather real time data beyond the operational districts, creating a void of information around health center stock levels. Utilizing SMS messaging and Instedd’s Resource Mapping Tool has helped solve this problem by providing the district, provincial and central levels a window into the current stock situations down to the health center level. With this information, the inventory needs at each location can be met more quickly and accurately reducing stock outs nationwide.
